Steering a diverse staff of over 850 talented people who are passionate and committed is wonderful. At times this requires a firm hand on the helm so we maintain a clear course and deliver on our commitments 100% of the time. That is not always easy with motivated and able people who hold their views dear. However, I wouldn’t swap this challenge for anything!

The support I get is all in our name – 'Network'. We operate in demanding industries for clients who expect the best. This means we need to draw on Wood Group PSN’s global expertise and combine that with local know-how. I am always astounded that whatever support I need is only a phone call away.

The Australian business has always been seen as innovative and passionate. My aim is to fully harness this huge strength and be seen as delivering global best practice to our customers and peers, with the heart and soul you would expect in a high-achieving business. I feel we are right on track to achieving this over the next year.

We deliver some incredibly complicated projects. This often requires that we execute work simultaneously at Wood Group PSN offices in Melbourne, Singapore, Yuzhno, Runcorn and Aberdeen. Developing this 'workshare' so it becomes second nature is a key area I wish to develop inside Wood Group PSN.
