Employees vote to declare PSN as one of the best UK companies to work for
PSN has been named one of the best 100 companies to work for in the UK by the Sunday Times – for the fourth consecutive year. Ranked at number 50 overall, the oil services company has climbed from its position of 84 in last year’s list. The company was also recognised with a special award for employee wellbeing after being voted one of the top three companies because of its caring management approach, which in turn improved all aspects of its employees’ welfare.
The awards are voted for by a company’s employees so the accolades serve as an indication of the continued satisfaction of PSN’s workforce and come at a time of importance for the company and its employees.
Dean Hunter, HR director for PSN explained:
“Back in 2007, just to qualify for this award was something we were incredibly proud of and now we have been ranked 50th best company to work for in the UK. This has come at a time of importance for our company and our people after the announcement last year that PSN plans to merge its business with Wood Group’s production facilities business. It shows to us that effective leadership, engagement and development is ensuring PSN employees feel a part of our business, even at a time of significant change.
“We have worked hard to create a strong employee led culture at PSN and both of these awards really underline that success.”
PSN currently employs 8500 people working in 26 countries.
